yawnx~ i m bored... as i was spacing out juz nw... i remembered an extremely funny question i had for econs exam ystd tt sent me into fits of giggles during the exam!! Amos is sooooooooo humourous i tell u~~ for those misguided... it's not the red lobster Amos from SRJC, it's Amos Witztum (doesn't it sound like wisdom?) from UOL... he was asking a question on price discrimination... den he said tt "Shoes on Air" is a popular brand. Athletes demand for it is inelastic coz they simply can't win without this shoe, while Teenagers demand for it is elastic coz they tot it was cool to be walking ard like floating hyenas... haha~ for some odd reasons... for the nx 20 mins while i was attempting the questions, i had images of floating hyenas and whining athletes... haha~ i started laughing like a cow (ever so softly) bt attracted an invigilator standing nx to me till i finished tt queston. lol~
Alright... i also remembered the proposed rising MRT fares!!! Since our govt is encouraging free speech... DUN ARREST ME for it!! Ok... SMRT had net profit last yr. tt was a tremendous profit increase given the local economy. tt was outside the question of rising oil prices and things like tt coz we know tt OIL PRICES ALWAYS increase during cold winter! Nvm... so wat if they din't increase prices since 2002? i had nv killed anyone since 10th Dec 1985 too! does tt mean i shd start killing? such exploitation is monetary killing anyway! Had they tot of students like us... private university students without concessions and yet hv to travel all the way to CLEMENTI for sch? Rich ppl drive cars!! it's the middle earning grps tatz suffering like MAD!!! poor ppl hv packages as compensation, though i doubt the significance of it is limited... wat abt the middle grp? taxes increase... middle grp suffer... transportation fares increase... middle grp suffer? Hv anyone spared a thought for us? I hope those ppl reviewinng the proposal, tink abt the forgotten middle grp and REJECT THE OBVIOUS EXPLOITATION OF THE MONOPOLY. Else, i guess, IN MY OPINION, there is little tt our govt is doing to protect our rights coz they are juz protecting the business circle and neglecting the welfare for ppl.
