Jiawen surprised me wif a new top... and surprisingly.. is super similar to the one i bought myself a few days ago!! a bit touched he remembered tt i casually commented i liked tis top... worked at tanjong pagar for a day ystd.... OFFICE JOBS ARE BBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRING!!!!!!!!!!! anyway, it was so bored i requested one hr early off for a one day job. now i realise i m not cut out at all for the OL-life...

ystd started off really horribly!!! first, i overslept.. so i fled to YCK mrt... and the train broke down ard somerset for ard 5 mins!!! tinking it was my lucky day, i quickly smsed my boss to tell her that the train broke down for half an hr and how apologetic n helpless i m... ONLY TO SEE HER REPLY SMS SAYING THAT SHE'S IN THE SAME TRAIN!!!!! reputation! reputation!!! wah laox!!!! damn embarrassing can!!!

Den i ran down tanjong pagar.. only to find myself lost somewhere ard the Bangkok bank building n the yummy looking curry fish-head hawker.. so i called the office, a guy answered, and when i asked for directions, he asked if i m the one-day temp staff who was supposed to report to work an hour ago, i answered yes and started my sob story of being stuck in the train and now i m lost, i heard him repeating my words and a burst of laughter broke out. I BET ALL MY FAKE NAILS THAT THEY DUN BLIF ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

so anyway, i came up, n was given the job of calling e peh pehs n aunties, asking them of their attitude towards lead-free soldered electtronics. WAH LAOX... how many toads u know actually bother how the electronics are joined together! do u go Sony n ask, "oei, ur joinings of the metals, lead or non-leaded huh?" so anyway, since i can't communicate in hokkien, hakka, teochew, tamil, malay n yesh, one japanese... the one sentence i learnt ystd was: "le kong simi"... wah laox.. my route to learning all these dialects had nv been this successful except when learning curse words!

so anyway, after work went straight to meeting for YEC... oh oh oh~ i MIGHT be turning into asst. treasurer tis time.. ie. the office committee. yupz, sm kind of promotion lah hor... at first they ask if i wan b secretary.. tinking fo the minutes n typing i need to do, i told them straight on "No".

so i hadn't ate for a day... so after meeting, i went to my fav. $2.50 hokkien prawn mee stall n tapao! it's still as big n yummy! ppl, u all shd go to old AMKSS n try the prawn mee at the smaller hawker centre.. pricing cheap, ingredients A LOT machiam free like tt... THUMBS UP INTRO fr Al!!!!

Anyway, i had pushed the blame for my unluckiness to seeing the following at my hse bus stop first thing in the morning...
