Right... out of pure inspiration, cooked this newly-invented dish: i call it... "THE ROCK"!!!

it's a dish cooked out of dried scallop, mushroom n oyster, plus sotong ball n celery n egg n yes, the most important thing: maggi mee!
from this experience, i learn new things,

1.) scallop, oyster n mushroom need to be soaked in water before cooking... (it tasted like rock! oh man!... enlightenment came from amos tan, NO THANKS TO HIM coz suggestion came THEREAFTER)

2.) lots of water has to be added for cooking the maggi mee coz the dish went too dry despite adding 4 cups of water to savour wateva tatz there

3.) eggs soak up water even faster despite being watery

4.) adding salt to slow down evaporations wun work (science dun apply to cooking)

5.) Celery can't be cooked for too long. Sotong ball takes long to get cooked.

6.) Al can't cook.

Right... despite the mee being too salty, celery too soft, sotong ball cold at the centre n the dried delicates being well, DRIED, i tink it was quite a successful attempt.. being, i came out in one piece... n i was too hungry n desperate to really bother abt the taste. tink of the ppl in africa!

jiawen bday last wk. budgeted bday, bt i gave him a new pair of Nike boots for soccer since soccer is his life. he treat me eat pizza hut... had a sucky dinner (which i can't remember)... friday we went helping out at lantern festival at amk town park... the fireworks were magnificient... and was certainly a bonus coz we missed the actual national day one this year! the fireworks although is smaller scale and in a neighbourhood, it surprisingly lasted for 3 mins plus and was really specticular! we heard ambulance coming though... after the event, caught Jackie Chan n Louis Koo movie Rob-B-Hood... i love the baby... he's really adorable! the part when he cried for papa n mama... wah laox~ so touching... almost cried... i laughed so hard at the part he was being washed in the washing machine and him turning his head away to other side of jackie chan's shoulder when louis koo was in danger! totally heartless n yet adorable!

went malaysia on saturday... din't buy anything... bt ate a superb korean dinner at a low low price... dada, nx time we go together k?

sunday went yoga... den jiawen came ard 3 plus to bring me mooncake and Mcdonalds (though i asked him buy KFC)! my hamsters love mooncakes btw! LOL... bt coz the mooncakes no seals or wrappers for each individual one.... today got one army of ants crowding ard. had a hard time clearing the mess!!!
